FINDING A TRAINEESHIP IN ITALY AND ABROAD
Students and graduates interested in undertaking a traineeship have access to several tools. The main one is the Traineeship Opportunities Portal:
https://www.unipd.it/cercare-stage-italia
The Career Service regularly updates a dedicated platform containing opportunities reserved for students and graduates of the University of Padua.
Access to the platform and submission of applications require login to the restricted area using University email credentials.
Applicants will receive an email notification regarding the outcome of the pre-selection process.
ACTIVATION OF A TRAINEESHIP
Important: traineeships started without prior submission and approval of the required documentation will not be recognised.
To start a traineeship, the following are mandatory:
- a Framework Agreement with the Host Organisation;
- a Traineeship Agreement (Training Agreement);
- completion of general health and safety training.
Insurance coverage for third-party liability and occupational accidents (INAIL) is provided by the University of Padua:
https://www.unipd.it/assicurazione
AGREEMENT
If not already in place, the Framework Agreement must be arranged by the Host Organisation (see the dedicated information page for organisations).
TRAINEESHIP AGREEMENT (TRAINING AGREEMENT)
The Traineeship Agreement must be completed by the student via the Unipd Careers Portal, based on the activities agreed with:
- the Host Organisation, and
- the Academic Supervisor.
Detailed instructions are available within the student’s restricted area.
The Agreement must be submitted at least 15 working days before the traineeship start date and sent to stage@unipd.it, electronically signed in PAdES (.pdf) format by the Host Organisation.
The Career Service will initiate the electronic signature process for:
- the student, and
- the Degree Programme Traineeship Coordinator.
